Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, Inc. and OCBA Fellowship Program

 Host Law Firm Interest Form

Overview

The Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, Inc. (LAS) and the Orange County Bar Association, Inc. (OCBA) invite private law firms to partner with us in a unique law student fellowship program. In the true traditions of the LAS and the OCBA, this initiative bridges public service and private practice, allowing law students to gain valuable experience in both sectors while fostering collaboration amongst law schools, LAS, and private firm communities.

Participating firms will host a talented law student fellow for 10 continuous weeks throughout the semester (May 12, 2025 through July 18, 2025), while also supporting the supervising attorney in their LAS pro bono efforts. This partnership enriches the legal profession, greatly increases law student skills, and supports the development of future attorneys committed to both professionalism and justice. The fellow’s stipend will be paid by LAS. LAS will also cover the fellow under the firm’s liability insurance for pro bono work performed during that time.
